Chief Pilot and Chief Flying Instructor Peter Holstein established Aerowasp Helicopters in 1992 and made its debut in Nowra initially conducting only Airwork and Charter operations.
After a couple of years in Nowra Aerowasp Pty Ltd relocated to Wollongong Airport offering flying training to the greater Illawarra.

This move proved disasterous when Aerowasp became involved with a local council that was later investigated and sacked for is dysfunctionality. As a consequence, Aerowasp relocated to Camden (western Sydney) which has proved to be a very fortuitous move. Today Aerowasp continues to offer professional services including Helicopter Flight Training, Instructor Ratings, Charter, Scenic, Transfers, Aerial photography and much more.

Aerowasp has issued many pilots with their Private and Commercial Licences and trained a large number of Instructors who are now employed all over Australia.
